Adimat/Bouwpunt and Gedimat Vlaanderen Join Forces in Strategic Merger

The purchasing groups Adimat/Bouwpunt and Gedimat Vlaanderen have officially announced their merger on November 04th, 2025. The two organizations will combine their operations under the existing Bouwpunt banner.

This merger — explicitly not an acquisition — stems from an equal partnership between two long-established players in the building-materials sector. By pooling their expertise, networks, and resources, they aim to create a stronger, future-focused organization that can offer improved support to members and suppliers alike. The unified group plans to bolster services across purchasing, logistics, IT, marketing, and operational efficiency.

Following the merger, Bouwpunt will consist of 22 branches across Flanders, each operated by independent, family-run businesses with deep local roots. By uniting under a single banner, the members aim to strengthen their competitive position while preserving their individual identities and entrepreneurial autonomy.
