

(AOF) – Saint-Gobain has finalized the sale of two distribution chains in Spain, La Plataforma de la Construccion to the BigMat group, as well as Discesur to Group Jorge Fernandez in association with Group Terrapilar. With 16 points of sale and nearly 700 employees, these two brands generated sales of around 140 million euros in 2020. In February 2021, Saint-Gobain had already announced the sale of the Sanigrif and Saniplast brands.
These operations are part of Saint-Gobain’s strategy to continue optimizing the portfolio, aimed at improving the group’s growth and profitability profile.
