At the Nürburgring in the Eifel, the Holzland Expo took place on the 20th and 21st of June. Around 190 suppliers from the fields of solid wood, building materials, wood-based panels, wood in the garden, building elements, floor, wall and ceiling as well as service providers presented their range of services in the Eifel. In addition to the numerous innovations that were shown at the exhibition stands, the cooperation centered on the new online shop. Of the approximately 120 shareholders, 60 are already participating in the new marketplace, for which Holzland has created the platform. 60,000 different products are currently available for selection, the trend is rising. The system takes into account the different strengths and limitations of each dealer.
On June 20, the fifth Woodland Award in the three categories was also awarded in the evening. Dealer of the year was Holzland Friedrichs from Mönchengladbach and in the election to the top supplier, the jury chose the manufacturer Meisterwerke Schulte. According to the jury, the most innovative product this year was the Warendorfer company Osmo.
