From the future of building materials to the AI that delivers it: Birmingham, 15 October

The AI Forum for Distribution UK|EU will take place on Thursday 15 October at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham.

Distribution Strategy Group has spent four years documenting what AI actually does inside wholesale distribution in the United States. Not the promise of it, the deployments: what they cost, how long they took, what went wrong, and what came back. On 15 October they bring that body of work to Europe for the first time.

The keynote is Audreyanne Snow, VP of AI Program Delivery at Parts Town, a U.S. distributor that started this work years before most of the industry. She is coming to Birmingham to go through what worked, what did not, and what she would do differently.

Why it matters for our members specifically:

The use cases are ours. Demand forecasting, branch stock, pricing and quoting, customer retention, the trade counter and returns. These are the same six pressure points in every one of our markets.

The evidence is measured, not claimed. Case studies arrive with costs, timelines, obstacles and results attached.

The room is European. Members from across our groups, and peers from electrical, industrial, automotive and foodservice distribution, comparing what has actually worked.

For members travelling, the venue makes it a single day. The National Conference Centre sits at junction 6 of the M42, five minutes from Birmingham Airport and five minutes from Birmingham International station, with 1,000 free parking spaces. Fly in the morning, fly out the evening.

Tickets are €344 (£295) a head. All sessions, catering and the networking reception are included.

As a Euro-Mat member you take 20% off with the code EUROMAT20, which brings it to €275 (£236). There is no separate rate for anyone else you bring. Everyone pays the same, which turns sending two or three people into a straightforward decision rather than a budget case.

One note on timing. The room is capped at 150 senior leaders and DSG’s U.S. editions have sold out four to six weeks before the date. Don’t leave it late. Get this off your to-do list and register today.
