At the end of May 2018, the Holz-Land cooperation also achieved a good result with regard to its centrally regulated turnover figures.

With a net purchasing volume of € 343 million and sales growth of 1.89 percent over the same period last year, Holz-Land, according to its own account, developed one of the largest communities of timber traders in Europe, according to Managing Director Andreas Ridder extremely satisfying.

Especially in other European countries, the signs are on a growth path: 4.73 percent increase over the previous year. In the range of solid wood / planed goods, the cooperation achieved an adjusted plus of 5.32 percent, followed by the construction elements sector with a growth of 3.4 percent.

The previous performance of the central Holz-Land online shop, which was launched in May, also gives the Dortmund-based cooperation a very optimistic tone. “So far we have received a lot of positive feedback from the market. For Holz-Land and the participating dealers, the project is a milestone: no single dealer can offer such a variety of products and services in breadth and depth, as all dealers of the wood-land cooperation together.

The potential customer who seeks information online and makes a purchase immediately realizes that he has landed with experts around the subject of wood or construction and housing. And precisely this added value is offered by our cooperation project, “says Ridder.
