A new adventure under the banner of BigMat: this is the path of BIT Imperia di Imperia, which, since September 2020, is one of the 200 points of sale of the leading group in Italy and Europe for the distribution of materials for construction, renovation and renovation.

The ten-year history of BigMat BIT Imperia is anchored in the Ligurian territory and recently the company has broadened its horizons by acquiring and relocating a new and larger store where it can expand the range and services offered.

The company was founded in 2011 from the association of three construction activities: the companies Brogna and Icose (concrete producers) and the construction warehouse CME Tasselli; hence the acronym BIT Imperia. «In 2016, the entrepreneurial reality evolves with the entry and respective exit of some partners – says Luigi Montano, sales manager of BigMat BIT Imperia. From 2016 to 2019, the company was successfully active in the building materials and hardware market, before the need for a new headquarters took over in 2019 ».

In fact, BigMat BIT Imperia took over another historic resale in the area at the end of 2019 and moved to a new location, “the owners of the acquired resale, now nearing retirement, have thus handed over the baton to the five joint owners of BIT Imperia” Montano says.

The 2,000 m2 sales point has been renovated and, in addition to building materials and hardware, other product sectors have also been added: accident prevention, paint, tiles, finishes, bathroom fittings and sanitary ware. Work is also underway to create an additional shed.

However, not only the sales territory has expanded, but so has the workforce that has grown from 5 to 10 employees to provide an increasingly efficient and timely service to their customers: for the most part companies, but also individuals.

 

At BigMat BIT Imperia it is possible to find a pre and post sales consultancy service for all materials to be built and renovated, including delivery to the construction site. Various events and technical courses for local craftsmen are also organized throughout the year, in collaboration with partner brands, to encourage the training and updating of installers on the latest product innovations and installation techniques, from coatings to flooring. .
