What is Cradle to Cradle?

First a brief word about Cradle to Cradle. Cradle to Cradle is regarded as the ultimate form of sustainable entrepreneurship worldwide. Cradle to Cradle originally began as a design philosophy devised by the German chemist Michael Braungart and the American architect William McDonough. The central idea is that all the materials used after their life in one product can be useful in another product, without losing quality or value. The latter distinguishes Cradle to Cradle from traditional recycling.

Behind the Cradle to Cradle Certification is a global institute headquartered in Oakland, USA. From there, the bar is set high for companies, as we have found out for ourselves. Both our EPDM products and our company were thoroughly screened for almost a year.
