Last week, Christoph Hörmann, general partner of the Hörmann Group, signed a contract for the complete takeover of the French company Maviflex SAS. The French corporation, headquartered in Décines, near Lyon, has been specializing in the development, production and sale of high-speed doors for more than 35 years. Most recently, the approximately 130-strong company generated annual sales of just under € 28 million.
The products, indoor and outdoor high-speed doors, will continue to be marketed under the Maviflex brand. The previous owners, Anne-Sophie Panseri and Romain Simon, remain in their position as managing directors. “We are very pleased about the expansion of our product range in France”, says Christoph Hörmann, personally liable partner of the Hörmann Group. “Now it’s important for us to make the most of the synergies we have with Maviflex locally.”
Hörmann is already represented in France with a production site in Sens and eight sales offices
