WISE by Amorim was awarded with the Blue Angel – the german label that recognizes PVC free products and sets high standards for environmentally friendly product design.

Created in Germany in 1978, this is a voluntary certification that follows rigorous environmental standards and is renowned as a reference guide for a more sustainable way of living. Blue Angel is synonym of a product (or service) that meets rigorous criteria of environmental performance. This label assumes a major role and is highly valued in developed markets, such as Central and Northern Europe.

The Blue Angel certificate is awarded to Wise by Amorim only a few weeks after the product has received the Green Guard Gold certificate, also in line with the sustainable commitment of the company. Besides these two certifications, Wise also has other important labels, such as TüV-PROFiCERT and A+ (French Mark).

This environmental label was created in 1978 on the initiative of the German Federal Minister of the Interior and approved by the Ministers of the Environment for the German federal states. Since then the Blue Angel has been a market-based, voluntary instrument of environmental policy. Its scientific and holistic approach, as well as its independence thanks to the broad-based involvement of professional and commercial groups and the Environmental Label Jury, provide the foundations for the trust that consumers have placed in the environmental label.
