Holzland wants to set with a changed organizational structure a “clear sign” towards partners, suppliers and market attendants. The cooperation can now concentrate even more on its core competencies: the holistic support of the shareholders in a market environment which is becoming more and more complex. “With the organizational change, we are now able to act more flexibly, are closer to the market and can thus shape it more actively,” says Managing Director Andreas Ridder.

The organizational areas now consist of four pillars: Goods, Sales & Marketing (management: Johannes Schulze, Lothar Kramer), Member Support (Michael Sommer), Digital Services (Christian Haltermann), commercial and HR (Nicole Averesch).

Ridder: “In this way, we are able to achieve synergies in the field of market processing: our employees can now become even more closely networked and coordination processes can be even more effective. With our well thought-out and forward-looking forward strategy, we are now well positioned to meet the challenges of the market.”

Holzland also announced that Wolf Hasenclever, previously Head of Category Management, had left the cooperation at his own request at the end of June 2017 to face a new challenge within the industry.
