Veris Bouwmaterialengroep nominates a new Managing Director
Mr. Baks succeeds Mr. N.J. Trapman in that position who has been Managing Director ad interim as from March 1st 2oo8. In the meeting of shareholders of Veris Bouwmaterialengroep on June 24th 2010 Mr. Baks will be proposed for appointment as Statutory Director. Mr. Trapman will step back at that date.
Mr. Baks is 52 years old and executed different management and directors positions in the building material branch.
He started his career with Fodor Nederland in Rotterdam as Assistant Manager for Fuji Films. After that he worked eight years for Imabo as Assistant Director. In the period 1996 –1998 he has worked as Interim Manager and set up Vedined, a purchase organization for paint traders. He also set up Symbiose, a purchase organization for exporters of bulbs.
As from 1998 he has been working as Managing Director and sharehorder with Meuwissen Groep in Haarlem. As from 2006 till today Mr. Baks is a member of the Board of Directors of Ubbink B.V.
Mr. Baks has great affinity with organizations that combine independent entrepreneurs for gaining advantages as a group. He also has long years of experience in the building material branch and as an entrepreneur. Those experiences are of major importance for Veris Bouwmaterialengroep. With this appointment Veris will get a new impulse for the forthcoming future.
